User friendly Salesforce
This ambitious start-up could not have timed its Dutch launch any better. Precisely when the nitrogen debate literally drove farmers to protest at the Malieveld in The Hague, Dutch Farmer Solutions (DFS) came to the Netherlands with a promising manure processing installation. With his plans for large growth, director Oscar van Leeuwen immediately fell for Salesforce. ‘I wanted a CRM system that is clear and can be rolled out across borders. The first applications from abroad have already arrived.’ DFS sells manure processing plants to farmers, who like to talk and work in their own language. ‘Soon we will be working with farmers in non-English-speaking countries, it will be great if system processes are recognizable. Salesforce is very user-friendly and clear. You don’t need to know the language to understand what’s going on.’
‘Our colleagues are so inspired by the way Welisa works they can’t wait to get started with Salesforce’
Enthusiastic users
After meeting Welisa, things moved quickly. Welisa had Salesforce for sales and marketing up and running within five weeks at DFS. ‘The match with Welisa was instant,’ says Oscar. ‘It is a wonderfully approachable team, who are always willing to explain everything to a digital illiterate like me. Welisa works very closely with our people, they ensure that Salesforce becomes central to our organisation. Welisa gives the users authority. Everyone can see and understand the backend, including our analysts, investor and accountant. This way, our colleagues enjoy working with it.’
App for customers
Oscar ultimately wants to bring all processes together in Salesforce. Such as Research & Development, which is currently still on a separate cloud server. Oscar also envisions an app, linked to Salesforce, that teaches the customer to know how much manure they process. And that is of course also handy for DFS. ‘This gives us insight into the sales funnel.’
