High Standards
Due to this extreme growth, COOXS reached a point where it needed to seriously focus on organizational improvements to take the business to the next level. Gerard: “Our outdoor kitchens are custom-made down to the finest details. That means there’s a lot of data that needs to be captured, and things can easily go wrong if you have to transfer it internally. We set the bar high; we want to be the Lamborghini of our sector: we serve a high-end segment and can’t afford any sloppiness.” Automation was the answer.
“Our products are custom-made down to the finest details, so there’s a lot of data to capture.”
Complete Process in Salesforce
COOXS came across Welisa and began automating the sales process using Salesforce Sales Cloud: opportunities, quotes, and version control of quotes. Initially, there was an attempt to process technical processes in the ERP system, but this didn’t go as Gerard hoped. Therefore, Welisa also built solutions for purchasing, planning, and project management in Salesforce. Now, COOXS manages the entire process in Sales Cloud: from the first customer contact to delivery. “If the customer calls today, we know exactly what it’s about. The product may differ, but our work process is now the same for every customer. Thanks to Salesforce, our project execution is now of the high quality we – perhaps obsessively – strive for.” There were frequent consultations with Welisa. “We could benefit from Welisa’s experience, and we also closely involved our own colleagues. We really worked as one team toward the end product.” Gerard emphasizes the importance of his team’s involvement. “You can have a great tool, but you also have to use it correctly. All employees see Salesforce as the engine behind our business.”
On Time
Gerard has noticed that you automatically register a lot of data. “I’m glad we implemented Salesforce relatively early in our existence. The more you grow, the more you have to consider in the software’s development. That takes a lot of time.” COOXS is also aiming for significant growth in the coming years. Moreover, it’s possible that international dealers will be connected to Salesforce in the future. In a tight labor market, it’s a huge advantage that many processes are automated, according to Gerard. “The growth we’ve experienced recently would not have been possible without Salesforce. We can now handle many more projects. Thanks to Salesforce, we have everything clearly on the radar.”
“We see Salesforce as the engine behind our business.”
The Company COOXS
- Started in 2019 developing weather-resistant, luxury outdoor kitchens.
- Focuses on the high-end segment and aims to turn every customer into a fan. The bar for quality and service is set high.
- Delivers custom-made kitchens with countless specific details.

The Challenge
With the team expanding, the transfer of information and collaboration on final products became crucial. The systems COOXS was using weren’t sufficient to handle the vast amount of detailed information that needed to be processed. COOXS developed a growth plan for the coming years and identified what was necessary to achieve that. There was a need for integrated software that is future-proof and scalable. An IT transition was necessary, and COOXS wanted to get it right the first time.
“Thanks to Salesforce, we can handle many more projects.”
The Solution
Initially, the choice was made for Salesforce Sales Cloud as the CRM in combination with an ERP system for the technical processes.
Salesforce worked well, but the ERP system didn’t meet expectations. Those ERP functionalities were then custom-built into Salesforce.
Now, in Sales Cloud, applications are available for purchasing, project management, planning, and invoicing. Even leads from the website are integrated into Sales Cloud.
The Results
- COOXS manages the entire process in Sales Cloud: from the first customer contact to delivery.
- All employees at COOXS were involved in the development and see Salesforce as the engine behind the business.
- Thanks to Salesforce, COOXS grew last year without needing extra employees; now, more projects can be tracked simultaneously with precision.
- COOXS is in control and can provide customers with the high service and quality it desires.
The Future
Salesforce is the foundation for COOXS for the coming years. To keep up with the company’s growth, COOXS sees further development possibilities for Salesforce.
COOXS works internationally with partners who sell the outdoor kitchens abroad. In the future, COOXS wants to give them access to the processes in Salesforce as well.
