COOXS

The demand for luxury outdoor kitchens from COOXS exploded by 200% in a single year. To manage this growth without compromising on their extremely high quality standards, the company sought a partner to professionalize their organization. Together with Welisa, they built a foundation that supports the entire process, from first contact to final delivery.

#Manufactering

Since 2019, COOXS has been turning gardens into true extensions of the home with weatherproof outdoor kitchens that match the comfort and appearance of indoor living. “This need was massively amplified during the lockdowns,” says founder Gerard Jansen. “Due to this extreme growth, we had to seriously elevate our organization to keep up.”

The Challenge: Lamborghini Quality at Scale

COOXS sets the bar high. “We aim to be the Lamborghini of our industry,” says Gerard. “Our kitchens are custom-made down to the smallest detail. This generates an enormous amount of data that must be flawlessly recorded and transferred internally. In the high-end segment, we can’t afford any sloppiness.”

With a growing team and an increasing number of projects, maintaining that level of perfection became the biggest challenge. The company needed a future-proof, integrated software solution that could handle this complexity.

The Solution: One Central System

In their search for a partner, COOXS found Welisa. The collaboration began by automating the sales process in Salesforce Sales Cloud. For technical processes like procurement and planning, a separate ERP system was initially chosen. However, this did not turn out to be the solution they had hoped for.

A crucial decision was then made: Welisa custom-built the required functionalities for procurement, planning, and project management directly within the Salesforce platform. As a result, COOXS now manages the entire process in one central system. “The product may differ, but our workflow is now the same for every customer,” Gerard explains. “Our project execution now has the exact high quality that we – perhaps obsessively – strive for.”

The Result: Growth Without Compromise

Thanks to the solution implemented by Welisa, COOXS can handle more simultaneous projects with the same team. A huge benefit in a tight labor market. All customer information and project details are centralized, ensuring everyone is always up-to-date.

The involvement of their own team was crucial during the project. “You can have a great tool, but you have to use it effectively,” Gerard believes. “All our employees now see the system as the engine behind our company. I’m glad we did this relatively early in our existence.”

A Close Partnership

The collaboration with Welisa felt like operating as a single team. “We had many strategic discussions and benefited greatly from Welisa’s experience,” says Gerard. “They also closely involved our own colleagues, which meant we truly worked together to create the final product.”

With a solid foundation in place, COOXS is ready for the future, with plans for further international growth and connecting foreign dealers to their system.
